Purina Mill on Hiawatha Demolition
A few days back I went on an Urban Exploration of the Hiawatha industrial corridor with Dusty. We found a delightful Industrial Wonderland of crumbling delights. This next series is for all you post-industrial, post-apocalyptic zombieland junkies. Oh, and railroad buffs.2

Autumn comes and a boy's heart turns to heavy industry and neighborhoods forgotten. A long telephoto can nicely compress an image to emphasize repetition. This photo is not crooked, the poles are.2
Manhole Cover Farm
The answer to yesterday's question is a Manhole Cover. While out wandering the rails I discovered a collection of used manhole covers. I never saw the bottom-side of a manhole (wait, that didn't come out the way I meant). Whatever, here they are in all their glory (hmm, nah, I'll leave it).1
Right next tot he Science Museum is a full power plant. It's not that obvious because it's tucked up against the cliff. The way that the city clings on the precipice of the cliff is pretty weird when you look at it.
