Yellow Brake - Theme Day

I visited the Minnesota Transportation Museum Jackson Street Roundhouse recently with Rob, Werner and my cousin Jenny. I found this yellow thingy and decided it was perfect for the April Theme "Yellow". Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

Stairs, Down by the River

Here are the stairs from yesterday's black & white photo. This photo makes the stairs look unnervingly precarious to climb and you know what? They are in real life too. They are located upriver of the Stone Arch Bridge on the St. Anthony side (East Bank). It's not a good place to hang out, but I went with my friend (and fellow blogger) Rob on a weekday morning, so I was safe. Unlike my stupid adventure on Thursday where I fell down a steep tree-covered hill out of site from an trail. I managed to catch a tree with the back of my knee while sliding down head-first. I vow not to climb muddy hills in spring any more, especially alone.
