Milkweed on the Shore of Lake of the isles. It’s interesting that the milkweed only grows in one place around the lakes. I see it in the prairies and along the bike trails, only in one place around the lakes. Do you know where?
As the early-morning light falls across Lake of the Isles, a Great Blue Heron sands along the shore of Mike’s Island near Evergreen point, searching for an unsuspecting breakfast to swim by.
Green light cast from the well-lit AT&T building dances across a white Gothic building near Nicollet Mall, Downtown Minneapolis. It reminds me of something I heard once: A camera doesn’t capture an image of an object; it collects the light that bounces off it.
Right next tot he Science Museum is a full power plant. It’s not that obvious because it’s tucked up against the cliff. The way that the city clings on the precipice of the cliff is pretty weird when you look at it.
An unusual maze, it has several options including a short-cut. There’s a bit of a Labyrinth to it in that there is a center goal and you can see it pretty clearly from the entrance. I’ll have to come back when they are open and try it out.
