About Mitch Rossow

Mitch Rossow is a Minneapolis-based graphic designer, web developer, photographer and all around visual creative. Communication is the ultimate end, so whatever medium, whatever tool, Mitch will deliver.
I started this photo blog to get familiar with Wordpress so that I could integrate a blog into a website for a client. I soon discovered that it was a great place to share my photography with anb amazing group of photographers — the City Daily Photo bloggers. The CDPB is a portal for hundreds of photographers around the world.
I’m on my fourth digital camera, a Nikon D200. I currently use several lenses for the Mitchster.com shots: a Tamron 11-18mm ultra-wide angle, the kit 18-70mm Nikon, a 70-300mm Nikonr and a 60mm prime macro (Nikon calls it a micro). The macro is my main tool for my fine-art copy work. I photograph oil paintings for several artists. I also have a full studio light system I use for portraits and product shots.
Thanks for reading and I hope you find a little happiness and education in my posts. Please invite your friends and colleagues to follow my photo journey with this blog and certainly feel free to comment.

Just stopping to say that I somehow happened upon your blog and I love, LOVE your shots of the Mpls skyline! Actually, I really like a lot of your work. The Spoonbridge & Cherry is great, and the holidazzle photographs are pretty fun, too~ My husband is from K-Town, by the way~
