Amphicar at Lake Calhoun

These cars we built in Germany from 1961-65, they didn't sell as well as the company hoped, but of the 4000 sold, over 700 of them are still in use. Pretty neat little toy, just perfect for the land of 10,000 lakes (actually 11,842). One of my clients, painter Carl Bretzke has one and has painted it; you can see it here along with his other paintings.
