It was a week ago today that Minneapolitains woke up to this fiasco. Deep ruts, cars completely covered, blind intersections and a nice cloudless sky. A week later, the sky is clear again and the snow is still here and not really out of the way. Lagoon, the main road that crosses the image above is normally three lanes wide; now it’s one. This morning on the radio I heard that the city’s snow removal budget is tapped out, some city workers have been working 12-hour days for a week. Should be a nice Christmas for them.
