Twins Stadium

The new Target Stadium from the "skyline' $13 seats. It's amazing how they managed to shoe-horn a stadium into a large block between a  railroad, two giant parking lots, two raised roads and a highway. Then they added a commuter rail terminal with a light-rail station above it. Startling how much is going on in this tiny space.

Rippling Wall at Target Field

The past two posts were close-ups of this amazing sculpture. When the wind blows against it, the little panels swing, showing the force of the wind. It's beautiful to watch as you stand in line...

225 South Sixth @ Night

The clouds drifted in nicely to catch the light of the city. The building with the saucer on it (what everyone calls it) is no longer the 1st Bank building nor the US Bankcorp Building, it's really called 225 South Sixth. Very inspiring name Especially considering it's the second tallest building in town. And it's very cool at night from the Foshay Observation Deck. I just learned that it has been renamed, Bill (see comments) just informed me that it's called the Capella Tower. Thanks Bill! Wikipedia Rocks...

Twins Game from Foshay

From high above Minneapolis, the Foshay observation deck affords a spectacular view of all the buildings taller than it. It's surprising how little of the surrounding area can be seen from there. See the bright light poking out around the left of the IDS Tower? that's the new Twins Stadium. Well, some of it, at least.
