Uptown Apple Store Opens Today!

I went down to watch the Nature Valley Bike Festival in Uptown Friday and was surprised to see the scaffolding gone and the beautiful glowing Apple Store all ready for business. They are having their Grand Opening today at 10:00am! If you go, take a moment to stare blankly at the rubble across the street where Kitchen Window used to be. If you look closely, you can see a reflection of the gaping hole in the side of Calhoun Square with a loader parked atop the pile, like a prize fighter proudly standing on his vanquished foe. Extra credit if you can see the bikers in the reflection too. P.S. I just noticed that one of my photos made the cover of MPR's Minnesota Today site!
