Maplewood Police Sgt. Joe Bergeron's Funeral

Last Thursday my fellow bloggers Dan, Rob and I went to observe Maplewood Police Sgt. Joe Bergeron's Funeral. Officers representing cities all over the state started showing up before dawn and stood silently at attention across the street from the cathedral. It was an incredibly moving experience and one I will never forget. As Dan said, "I'm glad we went, but I never want to do that again."
