Light Rail Station at Hennepin

The Minneapolis light rail train waits for pedestrians and traffic before crossing Hennepin Avenue.  Notice the car on the right? Yes, Hennepin is now a two way as well as First Avenue. The new Target Stadium is barely visible in the top left.

The December 1st Theme day photo is Waiting.

great choice and I see we have a lot of interesting train and bus stations for theme day

What an original take on the word – using the train and not the passenger waiting. I think we have something similar in Nice with the trams but I’ve not yet seen them.

I thought for sure that the photo would be one of pedestrians and riders WAITING for the train. I like this concept better: the light rail WAITING for people!!

Love it! The colors and layers look wonderful! I had to look for myself because this is my stop!
