Minneapolis Lightrail to Target Field

The Minneapolis Lightrail commuter train now goes to the new Target Field baseball stadium. The intersection of 5th and 2nd is unbelievably confusing, there’s two streets, a train and a city parking lot entrance.

Yes it is confusing. I get on the train each day at the Hennepin Ave. station. Since the Target Field station opened, the train has been late every day. Sometimes in the morning, the train is 7-8 minutes late (where I get on in Bloomington). I hope the kinks are worked out soon!

Great photo! I love how compact the area looks!

And there’s that no pedestrian sign, geez, I never noticed this before. Just like the signs we missed on Monday’s adventure and the resulting detainment. Are we too focused on the photography that we missed the signs? Or is is a touch of urban anarchy?
