Dr. Suess Path - Theme Day
Minnesota in January? Hardly. I snuck out for a week to Santa Catalina Island with Joe Paquet. Joe was teaching a landscape-painting workshop there and I went with him to photograph the students & the island and to get out of winter for a few days. This photo was taken during a day hike I took with Deb (her husband was taking the workshop). We walked to the Pacific side of the Island. It ended up being an 11-mile round-trip and we climbed from sea level to 1650ft. This is the trail we were on. I could scarcely believe how steep it was! The view was worth the climb, check back in as I share more photos this week.

That looks like fun.
Cool, you do get around! Missed theme day, again. Someone please email me a reminder next time!
Great shot. I posted a similar pic. I was up about 4000ft though. Like you said the view is great. MB
Nice, well worth the steep climb me thinks.
