Mille Lacs Lake

On the way up North to visit Grandma, I took a few photos of Mille Lacs Lake. A popular resort lake in the summer, it becomes an ice-fisherman's delight and a foreboding frozen wasteland for the rest of us. I tagged along with my aunt and uncle, so I was able to shoot out the window and catch some landscapes on the move. I love these craggy Burr Oaks and how the little color markers seem to stand in awe around it. Next week I will have some ice houses of grand proportions for you to see.
