The new Twins Stadium construction OVER I-394. Yep, this whole thing spans over the interstate, railroad tracks, a bike trail and probably the new light rail tracks. This whole area is a snaggle of bridges and parking lots. The location is obvious when you look at an areal view, but from the ground it’s a terrifying location to build anything on. Oh yeah, the basketball stadium is across the street and on the opposite side is the recycling & incineration plant.

Oops. Someone tried to get this truck under the Greenway Bike Trail Bridge by Lake of the Isles. It didn’t fit. Usually people hit the brakes and get stuck under the bridge; not this guy — he made it clear through to the other side!

I finished up a new website yesterday for Donna Chicone. She’s a local TV host of “The Dog Show.” She’s a real sweetie and a delight to work with. I haven’t met her co-host Jazz yet, but he seems to have full run of the show. The site has a lot of features, video, audio, photo galleries and an active menu. It’s all built with CSS and XHTML — I’m pretty proud of it. Take a look if you get a chance and let me know what you think of it. You can see the split bridge crossing the pond in front. I always have to cross it when I visit the garden, I think evil spirits are supposed to get stuck on the bridge, I guess evil spirits aren’t able to turn corners over water, must be a feng-shui thing.
