Love the silhouettes in the first image. More a painting than a photograph. And such a beautiful bird in the second. Sorry you had to deal with the bugs!

Really nice composition and sense of restrained color. The backlit mirror images in shimmering gold are magical.

It was a lot like this, I just sharpened & increased the contrast. I saturated the color a little, but it was a lot like this!
