Minneapolis Photographer Mitch Rossow’s daily photos of Minneapolis and the Twin Cities.

Back to the birds! My cousin Jenny and I were out stalking this Eagle and it’s mate. They’ve built a nest in the back of an industrial park in Northern St. Paul. We had fun taking pictures of this lovely if noisy couple. I have to confess, I can’t tell a male bald eagle from a female. Their genders seem as similar as geese. I guess it’s a good thing I’m not an eagle eh?

Great photo! I love that you got him with his mouth open! My boys recently found a nest nearby - they say the Bald Eagles are making a comeback around here, and I hope it’s true. They are so majestic and beautiful! I’m going to have to go stalking myself, and see if I can get such a shot as you did…
la photo de cet aigle est magnifique, un vrai poster.
the photo of this magnificent eagle, is a true poster.
This is a fantastic photo. Although if the bird is saying “get that camera out of my face!” I wouldn’t argue with him.
