Cell Phone Sunday is an on-going project. Both to prove that “it’s not the camera” and for the creative challenge, these are pictures I take with the simple 480×640 camera in my cell phone. As opposed to the Nikon D200 that I use for all the other pictures, the only button I use on the the cell phone is “capture.” That’s it, no compensations or zoom or aperture. More point & shoot than point & shoot, is our motto. Of course, I still work on them in Lightroom a little. ![]()

With this excellent quality, I gotta ask - what cell phone do you use? I know it’s not the equipment that’s important but, with these results I am amazed and perplexed.
Thanks for the comment, it’s not that great of a camera, it’s a Nokia 5300 — I post-process the images in Lightroom and increase the contrast and a lot of other stuff there. (That’s why I put the little rolling eyes guy on the bottom of the post.
