		<description>The snow is gone but it&#039;s still all brown in Minnesota. We still have bare trees but daffodils are poking up everywhere.  When I go out in the morning to get the paper from the sidewalk, the trees are full of noisy birds.  It&#039;s coming.  And nicer than Ross Island, I&#039;m sure.</description>

		<description>I, too, saw lots of brown yesterday down by the Mississippi River, but another thing I saw was along the edges there was green growing. And aside from what the geese were quickly plucking out, there is greenage that will be coming through over the next 2 weeks, and by the end of April it will be green again, everywhere! At least the optimism people get for summer is back in the air. See my blog for yesterdays shot of almost summer. Have a good one!</description>
