The duck is left over from the last design, he came from an experiment. It's a glow-in-the-dark duck. The old banner image was a 30 second exposure and the duck was the only source of light. I want to use different image for the banner, but I re-shot the duck so that people would still recognize the site after the redesign. Clean, organized, easy to find things. All that intense green in the old format made me a little queasy. Love the printer's type in the banner. I wonder how many people recognize what that is these days. I might do a new format for my blog for my first anniversary on March 22. However, I don't write code so I'm limited to the tools that Blogger provides. Oh, and there's the spare time question.
