Minnesota? Yeah, the Minnesota Zoo. This guy was in the aquarium with the puffer fish. The fishies at the Minnesota Zoo are much more tame than the ones at the Mall of America Underwater World.
A month ago the tiger shark there got a hold of another shark, here’s the video. I should warn you that it’s a little disturbing, but the other shark survived. It’s not an attack, it’s just one shark hanging out of the mouth of another.

Wow!! Big Game at Minneapolis!!!!
Once again, I did not have a clue from the thumbnail what this was. Cool angle. The video is a bit gruesome for those with delicate sensibilities but, hey, big fish eat little fish.
Off to Capitol Hill this afternoon to nag my senators (or, more likely, staff people) do do more for arthritis research. That’s what I’m in Washington for this week. I’ll have my camera in case anyone famous shows up.
When I saw this on the portal, I fully expected you to say this was seen while ice fishing! Nice portrait of the big guy!

Amazing fish in that photograph - don’t think I’d like to meet him on a dark night - well a dark night in a fish tank, that is.
