Thanks everyone for all the comments yesterday, I appreciate it! It was fun shooting the moon and getting such a great image. I’m running behind on work, so I’m just putting this pic up and going back to work. This is a branch with ice on it; when the humidity is high at night the ice will form on the trees, it’s not an “ice storm” just a cool form of frost — Minnesota dew if you will.

What a brilliant shot, a true beauty!
Thanks also for the tutorial on moon photography yesterday, you certainly demonstrated mastery on the topic, your photo was fantastic.
With the two previous photos (cold morning) I would have cropped closer, the way you did with your top photo.
Cheers !
The ice with the blue background looks great.
Magnificent!
I agree; the two colours of silver and brilliant blue make an outstanding photo.
Magnificent shot!
Great shot, Mitch. Just catching up on your photos. I love the ice again the blue. It’s beautiful. And the fact that I wish we were still in winter is prob. why I’m so drawn to this photo. We were 91F yesterday! It was crazy. Lovely, clear and crisp but still crazy in February. Have a great week.
