While walking around Lake of the Isles I found a tree decorated with oranges. The tree is right by Euclid Ave and someone decorates it every year.

Simple and attractive. Interesting tree ornament. Really quite bright and vivid. I’m wondering if the birds enjoy this as well.
Interesting. Someting popped into my head, (this usually happens, no I did not hurt myself
) Look back at your pic for Dec. 19. Bright orange orbs of light taken at night. Compare that with today’s pic. Bright orange orb…
wonderful decoration idea and wonderful photo! cheers!
That is a nice idea and the color is wonderful. I especially like the little frosted ice that formed at the top of the slice.
Is the tree frequented by some bird or birds that favor orange?
For us old folks, it is a weary time of year. So as it winds down may I wish you and your family a very happy and healthy holiday and a prosperous new year.

Hey Mitch, cool, cool photography! I can’t help but mention, in reference to your paragraph on tripods and shutter release cables… my Nikon D80, much to my surprise, came ready for a wireless remote cable release! I couldn’t believe it. And the little remote was only like 20 bucks or so. I use it quite often, even in the daytime if I am using my 300mm. It’s awesome. I would recommend it to anyone. Again, great pictures you are posting here, love it. Have a great Christmas!
