Yes, I used an external flash for the leaf pic, but that was it. It was night out, so focusing on the leaf kept the black background intact. Thanks for the questions!</description>

		<description>I was using a Canon Rebel XT but have switched to a Canon elph point and shoot, I guess I've digressed. :)I reason it as they are both 8 mp, and the smaller camera is more convenient for me. I appreciate your professional photography and technical expertise explaining how you are achieving your photographic effects. The photographs are amazing.</description>

		<description>Not only am I a photography novice, I am also a blog and Photoshop novice as well.  I am still learning my PS Elements 5.0.  No, I do not have Lightroom, I'll wait until I purchase a DSLR camera first.  

While I have no idea how you made the tree monochrome, I have a few trick up my sleeve to bring out the blue.</description>
